Return Policy

I hope you love your new hairpiece! However, finding "the one" can be difficult and sometimes takes a few tries. I know it did for me. Therefore, I know that some exchanges and returns are to be expected

If you do decide to return your hairpiece it must be shipped back within 3 days of receipt of package. Buyer to notify Toss Hair of the tracking number WITHIN the 3 days. The day you receive the topper counts as day 1. For example, if you receive your piece on Monday you will be required to ship it back by Wednesday and provide the tracking number to Toss by Wednesday.  If you receive your hairpiece on Friday or Saturday you will be required to return/provide tracking number to Toss by Monday. Any items returned without first contacting Toss and providing a tracking number will be returned to you and no refund will be issued.  Email info@tosshaircollection.com No exceptions will be made. 

If you cancel your order before it has been shipped there will be cancellation fee of $50 due to the processing fees we incur on our end for processing payments. If you cancel after your item has been shipped the standard 10% restock fee will apply.

When shipping your topper back to Toss it is the buyer's responsibility to insure the package in case of loss. If you choose NOT to insure the package and the package is lost, then Toss will be unable to issue your refund until topper is received.

Items must be in original condition with all original packaging. No alterations made of any kind (cutting, trimming, washing etc) Items will be inspected thoroughly before refund is issued. Please allow 3 days from the time Toss receives the hairpiece to issue your refund. Please allow 5-7 days for your credit to appear with your bank. Some banks may take longer.

NO refunds or exchanges on SALE items.  No exceptions.

Refunds- 10% restocking fee will apply to all returns.  Refund amount will be the original price paid for the hairpiece (shipping costs are not refunded) minus the 10% restocking fee.  No exceptions to restocking fee.

Exchanges- If you would like to exchange your topper for another, we offer a one-time free exchange.  Your initial topper must be returned within the 3 days as stated above.  If we have a topper in stock that you would like to exchange it for then an exchange may be issued.  However, since stock changes a lot and a lot of inventory is not carried at once then if there is not a topper currently in stock that you would like to exchange for then a refund will be issued.  The refund will be initial sale price minus the 10% restock fee.  However, if you find a topper within 30 days of your return then Toss Hair will issue you a credit for your initial restock fee.  Credit to be applied to your 2nd order. 

Shipping

All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. If we experience a delay in shipping, we will notify you via email.  When placing your order please insure you have no typos in your address, phone # or email address.  

 

 All orders are shipped from the state of GA in the USA

All orders are shipped with tracking and are insured.  Once Toss Hair has shipped your hairpiece, we have no control over lost or stolen packages.  While we will most definitely assist with any claims with the postal carrier, the buyer is responsible as well to contact the carrier regarding packages not received. If the carrier states your package was delivered but you did not receive your package, Toss cannot be held responsible for stolen packages. Toss also cannot be held responsible for any incorrect addresses the buyer provides.  Please check your address before submitting your order.

 

International Orders

While we do ship internationally not all countries are available at checkout on the website.  Please email or DM us and we can determine if we can ship to your country and get you a quote for shipping/ assist with checkout.

Customer is responsible for all taxes, duties and import fees if applicable.  We do not know the amount you will need to pay to customs so please check with your local postal service if you need an estimate. No import/custom fees will be refunded should you return your hairpiece to Toss.  Buyer is responsible for any return shipping fees, which may include custom duties and taxes applicable in your country. We cannot declare a lower value in order to assist with custom fees.  Nor can we declare as a gift.  This puts both Toss Hair and the buyer at a great risk of losing out on money.  If you are not prepared to pay the custom/import fees charged by your country, please do not consider ordering.

We send tracking numbers out for each item shipped.  Please watch the tracking number with the carrier and be aware of when your package is to be delivered.  On most international orders you must be able to sign for the package.  If you do not accept your package and it is returned to us, you will be charged the return shipping fee on top of the 10% restock fee.  No exceptions.

Longevity

​

The longevity of your piece depends on how well you care for it and how often you wear your piece. The lifespan of a topper is very different for each person.  Some wear their pieces for long hours every day while some customers rotate pieces and/or do not wear the hair for as long outside.  Everyone's experience can be different and Toss Hair cannot be held responsible for the upkeep of your hairpiece. You can expect our luxury range of silk toppers to last approximately 2 years dependent on your usage. Many pieces last even longer than this. Other toppers such as lace toppers, mono toppers or our budget friendly range should last approximately 1 year or more.  Highly processed hair generally will not last as long as virgin/natural hair.  Processed hair, whether processed before your purchase or after can affect the longevity of the hair. Be sure to use quality hair products and follow care instructions. For blonde pieces and/or highlighted pieces we suggest doing a conditioning treatment every 4-6 weeks. Toppers that have been dyed/colored will fade just like with your natural/bio hair.  Oxidation occurs with any hair color whether your natural hair or on a topper.  You will need to have color touch ups done in order to maintain the color.  Overtime you may need to have the ends trimmed as well.  If you need a topper/wig colorist, then please reach out and we can refer you to colorist we are familiar with.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS AND TIPS

  • First and most important rule is moisturize, moisturize and moisturize some more! While the hair is human it is not growing from your scalp.  Our scalp produces the oil that moisturizes our bio hair. Since that is not the case with a hairpiece, you have to add oils yourself to keep your hairpiece from getting too dry. You should probably add moisture to your piece about twice a week.  That can vary depending on how often you wear it, if hairspray is used or how often you wash it. There are several brands out there to use,  Below are common ones that I use.  

    • Moroccanoil Treatment and Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray.  

    • Kerastase Elixir

    • Pomifera Radiant Hair Oil.

  • Also, at times I will simply spritz the hair with plain water.  Just three or four small spritz throughout the hair will even do wonders. 

  • I tend to wash my hair about every 4 weeks.  There is no rule on how often you should wash.  It all depends on how often you wear your piece and what products you use.  Some ladies who use no hairspray and minimal heat can certainly go longer than 4 weeks.  If you tend to use hairspray or a styling iron on your hair you may want to wash it more.  Ultimately you will get a feel for when your piece needs washing.  It will sometimes start to feel a bit “heavy” when it needs a good wash. Do not overwash as this can cause dry hair. 

  • Always use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. I have used several.  One of my favorites is Matrix BIOLAGE Hydrasource. There are multiple options out there though. Please check my Amazon favorites for suggestions on good hair products. 

  • It is always best to air dry your hair when you can. It truly makes a world of difference.  While it may air dry wavy or with a slight frizz this is completely natural.  You can always heat to style after it air dries. You can also lightly dampen the hair after it has air dried and then blow dry it to smooth the hair out.   There are times when time doesn’t allow you to air dry your piece.  That is fine.  Just be sure not to use the highest heat setting when blow drying.

  • Curling irons, straighteners etc. can be used.  Just be sure to use the lowest heat possible. Start with the lowest temperature and increase as needed to get desired results. Try not to exceed 375 degrees.

  • If you choose to use hairspray, please do not use any hairspray that causes buildup.  I use Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray in medium hold and HairUWear Control Hairspray. 

  • If you have trouble getting your hair topper to grip to your bio hair try spraying your bio hair with any hairspray, dry shampoo or texturizing powder to give your bio hair some grip for the clips to grab onto.  You can also tease your bio hair for the clips to grab onto your hair.

HAIR COLOR DISCLAIMER

​

   Toss Hair makes every effort to reflect the accurate color of our hairpieces. There are so many things that go into how color is reflected on a phone or computer monitor. The most accurate depiction of any color is achieved in natural indirect sunlight without the color reflected from indoor lightbulbs.  However, even the cloudiness of the day may affect how color appears. When you receive your hairpiece it is important to remember that most likely your bathroom lighting will not reflect the accurate color.  Your own bio hair will even appear a different color in your bathroom as compared next to the indirect sunlight by a well lit window.

  In addition to the photography, please remember that each hairpiece is handmade and there can always be a "slight" variation of color even in the same color.  For example, the "Anna" colored topper may have slight variations from piece to piece.
